Technology over the years has changed tremendously. Whether from the newest cell phones, computers, or even television sets, everything has been upgraded. In school we now use Mac computers when 10 years ago we were learning how to write neat with a pen and paper. Even medicines have evolved and there are more cures than ever. People don't realize that in the next 50 years many things will change. There might be flying cars or anything extreme like that. Space stations will do more than ever and people will never be able to not do anything.

Giants awaiting results of Manning's MRI
After reading this article i was shocked because i am a very big Giants fan and had just watched the game on sunday. The Giants star player Eli Manning was having an mri on his right leg after playing against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Giants spokesman told the press that the results will come up later this week after manning talks to his doctor. Manning hurt his right heel in a no contact injury in the Giants' 27-16 win. Manning still had some swelling and soreness Monday morning. He got ice and went to his stimulation treatment before going to his meetings. Hopefully he will be all right

Back in the Day...
3rd grade was the mot fun for me. I think in that year I did almost 7 fun academic things regarding my school which was P.S. 55.
The one that was the most memorable to me was the spelling bee that I got to chosen to be in. I made my entire family come watch me because it was so important to me. although i didn't win I still was close. I was in the last round when I misspelled the word kindergarten. I spelled the end of the word with d e n, instead of t e n. I was extremely upset but i still had a wonderful time and got a certificate and book to remember it by.
P.S. 55

When was the last time you went to the library?
now i dont know about all you, but i havent been to the library in a very long time. i dont even have an account anymore because i think it expired from not being used in over 6 years. what i havent realized is that the library does cool stuff for people of all ages. toddlers can come in on tuesdays nights and have people read fairytales or any other stories read to them, and for the older generations, theres clubs and meeting you can attend if you're reading the same book as them. theres scavenger hunts, games, and lots of puzzles for everyone to do..pretty sure you should reconsider not going to the library =)

No More Snacks!!!
The chancellor of new york apparently made a rule that states that public schools aren't allowed to sell anything during school hours. now for us,during lunchtime is when we make most of our sales. Whether trying to raise money for the school newspaper or trying to get new fun activities for school we are no longer allowed to sell anything. Things are even being said about the vending machines and how Snapple is now unhealthy except for the 100% fruit juice. Most students don't even buy most Snapples that are being sold..Lately lots of things have changed, not many people like what has been happening.

Blogging in education
Blogs in Education
Blogging is beneficial to education. It benefits education by helping students of all ages become familiar with the world of the internet. It is helpful to schools because automatically students love using technology and when they are able to use the internet, they try doing the best they can. There is no excuse for not being able to do anything because of the fact that the internet has everything you possibly need. Using Blogging in schools can help teachers and students as well. Blogging in schools helps students by making them interact more frequently with the web. It helps the internationalization of publishers and writers do what they do best.
